Super Spacer Sealed UnitsSelf Cleaning Glass
BIOCLEAN® sealed units are the latest product now available from Ravensby Glass. This revolutionary new product is a self cleaning, low maintenance glass that stays cleaner for longer. BIOCLEAN® can be used in all environments and is especially useful in hard to reach areas such as:
- Windows and patio doors
- Conservatories, balconies and particularly overhead glazing
- Glazed facades, exterior shopfronts and display windows.
This self cleaning glass has been designed for external use and harnesses the power of both the sun and the rain to efficiently combat dirt and grime that may accumulate on the outside of the window. The self cleaning function is active soon after installation and will even work on a cloudy day in the absence of direct sun. BIOCLEAN® requires only a small amount of UV radiation during the day to function and even continues to work throughout the night.

Incorporating BIOCLEAN
BIOCLEAN® can also be combined with many other glass products for multi-functional glazing. MaintenanceBIOCLEAN® does not need to be cleaned as regularly as conventional glass. However it is not a totally maintenance free glass and it may occasionally require some simple rinsing for more stubborn marks.ProcessingIt is important to always position the coated face towards the outside of the sealed unit and laminated glass.
